Terms of service.
Plain-language summary of the agreement between you and Monifuse. It applies whenever you open or use a Monifuse account.
Your account
You must be 18 or older and complete identity verification before your account can hold or move money. Accounts are personal to you — do not share credentials or let anyone else transact on your account.
Verification tier determines your limits. Higher tiers require additional documents and unlock higher transfer and balance limits.
Money movement and fees
Currency conversion uses the rate shown at the moment you confirm a transfer. Fees are always displayed before confirmation and summarised on the pricing section of our home page. Transfers may be delayed or declined where required by law, by our partners, or by our risk controls.
Linked banks and the General Balance
Bank linking requires your explicit consent and can be revoked at any time. Locks you place on an account prevent the General Balance from spending it; unlocking is instant and logged.
Closing or suspending an account
You may close your account at any time once balances are withdrawn. We may suspend an account where we suspect fraud, sanctions exposure, or a breach of these terms, and will tell you where we are legally permitted to do so.
Licences and partners
Monifuse is a financial technology company, not a bank. Customer funds are held with licensed partner institutions in each market we operate in, and payment, FX and card services are delivered through licensed providers. On request we will confirm in writing which institution holds your funds and under which licence.
Anti-money-laundering policy
We operate a risk-based AML and counter-terrorist-financing programme: identity verification on every account, sanctions and PEP screening, ongoing transaction monitoring with risk scoring, and mandatory reporting of suspicious activity to the relevant financial intelligence unit.
Records are retained for the period required by local law. We may request source of funds documentation, and we will decline or freeze activity where we cannot satisfy these obligations.
